Introduction

The objective of this page is to have as much relevant information about Yachts designed to the "Koster Rule" by Arvid Laurin. It includes the Laurin 22, 28, 31, 38s plus some of the many wooden yachts by his hand. In total there is around 470 boats from the Glasfiber productions plus an unknown number of wooden kosters.

To keep track of all these Yachts and their history is a VERY difficult job and will only succeed with the assistance of the Laurin owners themselves...

So please help to inform any sales/buys as this Site does - unfortunately - not have a "Crystal Ball" to learn from !. Assistance with missing Yachts is of course equally important, so please contact us.

Laurin Koster Picture of the Month

In the year 2000, information about a "black L32 owned by a German living in South America" reached the Webmaster. For 12 years the search has been going on before she was finally found in Pouerto del Buceo in Uruguay ... she has now been salvaged and in good shape.
